About the Role

Working within our Signalling and Telecommunications Team in Swindon or Crewe, you will lead signalling design projects (Grip 4/5) and apply expertise within these projects. You will produce and independently check detailed signalling design, signalling plans, calculations, reports and specifications.  You will provide technical expertise and support in order to meet the design requirements for signalling projects and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. You will manage design packages and teams of staff involved with their production.
 
About You
 
You will have a minimum of an HNC/HND in a relevant subject and will have a thorough understanding of signalling principles backed by technical qualifications and proven experience in the Railway environment. You will be experienced in signalling design for Network Rail. You will preferably hold an IRSE Licence in categories 1.1.150A, 1.1.150C/D and 1.1.160 (or be working towards these categories).  Experience of acting as Lead Engineer on projects is desirable.
